EPDM rubber fenders are protection products specifically designed for harsh environments such as outdoor, weather-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, and fresh/semi-brackish water conditions. They can be produced using extrusion or molding processes and offer irreplaceable advantages in docks, bridges, and ships.
D rubber fender Performance:
Extreme Weather Resistance: Excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. Outdoor service life can reach 15-20 years, 2-3 times that of natural rubber fenders, with no cracking, hardening, or powdering.
Excellent Chemical Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to fresh water, seawater, acid and alkali solutions (pH 2-12), salt spray, detergents, etc., suitable for chemical plant docks, sewage treatment plants, inland waterways, and other applications.
Good High and Low Temperature Resistance:Operating temperature range is -40℃ to +120℃. Stable operation is possible in frigid northern regions, hot southern regions, and tropical climates. It does not crack at low temperatures or soften at high temperatures.
Excellent High and Low Temperature Resistance: Operating temperature range is -40℃ to +120℃. Stable operation is possible in cold northern regions, hot southern regions, and tropical climates. Low water absorption: Water absorption volume expansion rate ≤1% (23℃×24h), performance will not degrade due to water absorption even after long-term immersion in water, suitable for long-term underwater use.

Specific Applications
EPDM Fenders are used primarily for their weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and resistance to high and low temperatures. They are commonly used in the following applications, but should be avoided in applications requiring oil resistance:
Port and Dockyards:Fenders for freshwater docks, inland river docks, floating docks, and yacht marinas. These are used for long-term immersion in water and exposure to direct sunlight, resulting in a long service life.
Bridge Engineering: Fenders for bridge piers, pier sides, and around bridge towers. These are used outdoors, offering good weather resistance and adaptability to high and low temperature changes.
Auxiliary Protective Strips for Cross-Sea Bridges and Coastal Bridges:These are resistant to seawater corrosion and salt spray, offering a long service life.
Fenders for Urban Bridges and Overpasses:These offer good weather resistance and low maintenance costs.
Shipping Industry: Fenders for the hull sides of inland river vessels, freshwater fishing boats, and yachts. These are used for long-term immersion in freshwater, offering good weather resistance.
Fenders for Refrigerated Ships and Low-Temperature Transport Ships: These offer excellent low-temperature resistance and do not crack at low temperatures.
Industrial Equipment: Edge protection strips for factory workshops and warehouses, with good weather resistance to adapt to temperature changes within the workshop; Edge protection strips for equipment in chemical plants and sewage treatment plants, resistant to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion; Protective strips for outdoor equipment and open-air machine tools, with good weather resistance and long service life.
Other Fields: Anti-collision fenders for amusement park equipment and water park equipment, with good weather resistance and environmentally friendly and pollution-free;
Installation Method:
Bolt fixing (with pre-embedded metal parts) or slot installation is recommended. Avoid adhesive installation to ensure installation reliability.
