Extruded Nitrile Rubber Tube

Nitrile rubber (NBR) is a type of rubber with good oil resistance, typically with a hardness of 60-85A, making it the first choice for oil-resistant rubbers.

Specific Parameters

Temperature Range

 Long-term: -30℃~100℃;

Media Resistance

Resistant to mineral oils (gasoline, diesel, engine oil, hydraulic oil); resistant to animal and vegetable oils; resistant to alcohols (ethanol, methanol); not resistant to ketones (acetone), esters (ethyl acetate), and aromatic solvents.

Physical Properties

 Tensile Strength: 8~13MPa; Elongation at Break: 250%~400%; Abrasion Resistance: Abrasion loss <0.15cm³/1.61km; Tear Strength: ≥30kN/m

Advantages and Disadvantages of NBR Rubber Tube

Advantages: Excellent oil resistance; good abrasion and tear resistance; low price; mature processing technology.

Disadvantages: Poor weather resistance; prone to aging and cracking outdoors; not resistant to ozone and ultraviolet radiation; easily hardens and becomes brittle at low temperatures.

Applications:

Automotive Fuel Systems: Fuel return line, oil dipstick sleeve, crankcase ventilation line, low-pressure power steering line.

Industrial Lubrication Systems:Machine tool lubricating oil delivery lines, fuel dispenser hoses (low-pressure section), hydraulic equipment return lines.

Construction Machinery: Lubricating oil lines for excavators and loaders, low-pressure return lines for hydraulic systems.
