OMIT industrial also produce FKM material rubber extrusions.
FKM rubber extrusions are renowned for their exceptional resistance to high temperatures, oils, and chemical corrosion. They are widely used in the production of O-rings, gaskets, and on-site sealing strips.
Core Features
1) Long-term service temperature range: -20°C to 200°C. Certain special grades can withstand short-term exposure up to 250°C–300°C — far exceeding the capabilities of ordinary rubber.
2)Excellent resistance to fuels, mineral oils, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., benzene, toluene), aliphatic hydrocarbons, and many organic solvents and acids. Performs exceptionally well in harsh environments such as automotive engines and chemical plants.
3) Outstanding resistance to ozone, weathering, and UV radiation. Long service life — resists cracking even after prolonged outdoor or ozone-rich exposure.
4) Good mechanical strength and flexibility. Maintains low compression set under pressure, ensuring long-term, reliable sealing performance.
5)Very low gas permeability rate, making it suitable for high-vacuum applications
