OMIT industrial also produce white EPDM rubber extrusion. 

White EPDM performance is same to black EPDM rubber material, only the color is different. Solid (Dense) EPDM rubber extrusions is a rubber sealing product manufactured through an extrusion process, resulting in a uniform, dense internal structure with no air bubbles or cells.

1)Dense Structure with High Strength

No internal bubbles; smooth surface finish. Offers high tensile strength and tear resistance. Resists breakage or deformation under pressure or stretching.

2)Excellent Weathering & Aging Resistance

Inherits EPDM's superior resistance to ozone, UV radiation, wind, and rain. Does not crack or degrade even after long-term outdoor exposure. Long service life.

3)Very Low Water Absorption (Excellent Waterproofing)

Without sponge cells, water molecules can hardly penetrate the material. This is one of the most critical differences from sponge EPDM, making solid EPDM the preferred choice for waterproof sealing.

4)Good Chemical Resistance

Resists acids, alkalis, alcohols, detergents, animal & vegetable oils, as well as high-temperature steam.

Not resistant to: mineral oils, fuels (gasoline, diesel), kerosene, or other non-polar solvents.

5)Better Abrasion

Compared to sponge sealing strips, the dense surface is tougher and more durable. Withstands friction, wind pressure, and external impacts without easy puncture by sharp objects.

6)Low Compression Set

Although dense in structure, proper formulation maintains high elasticity. High-resilience solid EPDM recovers well after long-term compression, ensuring continuous sealing pressure.

7)Service Temperature Range

-40°C to +150°C – remains flexible at low temperatures without cracking, and stable at high temperatures without softening.
