Auto Window Flocked Glass Run Channel

Product Features

● Flocked rubber weather seal channel manufactured from 100% EDPM raw material, nylon or polyester fibers are coated on the adhesive profile, vertically by electrostatic flocking, the profile obtain a uniform, durable fabric surface.

● Flocking rubber seal widely used on automotive window door glass sealing, can excellent prove water, reduce noise and increase good sealing performance.

● Can cut to specific end or vulcanized joint.

EPDM flocked glass run channel are made by "planting" a layer of short fibers onto the surface of an extruded EPDM rubber strip, creating a velvet-like texture. Currently, our factory uses electrostatic flocking for this process. After flocking, the strips are heated in an oven to cure the adhesive, permanently fixing the fibers to the surface of the rubber strip.

Features:

Tactile Feel:Soft, smooth, and noiseless. This is the most significant characteristic. When rubbing against other components (such as car doors and windows), it effectively reduces or eliminates harsh friction noises, improving the user experience.

Wear Resistance: The flocking layer protects the EPDM base material and also possesses a certain degree of wear resistance, extending the service life of the sealing strip.

Sealing Performance: The flocking layer has a certain degree of compressibility, which can fill tiny gaps, further enhancing dustproof, waterproof, and sound insulation effects.

Appearance: The surface has a matte or semi-matte flocking texture, providing a high-end and aesthetically pleasing visual effect.

Flocking Material: Commonly used flocking materials include nylon (PA), polyester (PET), and viscose fibers. Different materials have slight differences in softness, wear resistance, and temperature resistance.
