Rubber Seal Strip Material Features

● Rubber U channels are available in either EPDM, neoprene rubber, nitrile rubber or silicone rubber, different material are designed to fit your application perfectly.

● EPDM rubber is best known for it's excellent ozone, weathering, and aging resistance. It also has excellent water and steam resistance, maintain it's flexibility at low temperatures.

● Neopene rubber material itself with best flame resistance, and good resistant to weather, ozone and chemical. 

● Nitrile rubber with excellent oil and fuel resistance, so if have special requirement so oil resistance, NBR material is the first choice. 

● silicone rubber material with excellent temperature resistance, withstands extreme temperatures (-50°C to +250°C), UV and ozone resistant, and non-toxic

Rubber seal strip properties:

1) Good elasticity and compression set, because high elasticity ensures better performance in sealing gaps and flexibility over time.

2) Durability and Weather Resistance: Rubber seal strips should resist UV, ozone, and other environmental factors. EPDM material is an ideal for weather-resistant applications.

3) Chemical and Oil Resistance: Nitrile and neoprene rubber seals are better in environments exposed to oils, fuels, and chemicals, while silicone and EPDM are less effective in these conditions.

4) Temperature Resistance: silicone material have excellent temperature resistance, ranging from very low to very high extremes, making them ideal for applications in harsh temperature environments.

5) Water and Air Tightness: Rubber seal strips should provide a tight barrier to prevent water, air, and dust from entering. This is especially crucial in automotive, construction, and HVAC applications.
