Silicone rubber material properties:
1) Silicone cords typically remain flexible and functional from -60°C to +230°C (-76°F to +446°F) continuously, with some grades handling brief exposures up to 300°C.
2) Highly resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and atmospheric oxidation.
3) Available in translucent or bright colors, which can be useful for color-coding or aesthetic purposes.
4) Many silicone rubber compounds are inherently flame retardant and can be formulated to meet standards like UL 94 V-0.
