Silicone sponge rubber profiles are manufactured from high-quality silicone elastomer with a closed-cell foam structure.

Silicone sponge rubber is non-toxic, odorless, and chemically stable, making it suitable for both industrial and sensitive applications such as food processing, medical equipment, and electronics.

Product Features:

• Continuous working temperature: –60°C to +200°C

• Short-term resistance up to +230°C

• Excellent Compression Set

• Maintains elasticity and sealing force in extreme hot or cold environments

• Soon recovers shape after repeated compression

• Soft & Flexible Structure

• Low density and low hardness (commonly 10–30 Shore 00)

• Easily conforms to uneven or irregular surfaces

• Outstanding resistance to UV, ozone, oxygen, and moisture

• Does not crack, harden, or degrade over time

• Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications

• Resistant to many chemicals including water, alcohols, mild acids, and alkalis

• Not recommended for long-term contact with fuels or strong solvents

• Electrical & Thermal Insulation

• Excellent electrical insulating properties

• Low thermal conductivity, helping reduce heat transfer

Compared with dense silicone rubber, sponge profiles provide better cushioning and vibration damping, reduce noise and mechanical shock. The closed-cell structure also prevents water absorption, ensuring stable performance even in humid or wet environments.

Silicone sponge rubber profiles can be produced in a wide variety of extruded shapes, including:

D-profiles, P-profiles, Rectangular and square profiles, Hollow sponge tubes, Custom-designed cross-sections

They can be supplied in continuous lengths, cut pieces, or adhesive-backed versions for easy installation.
